We are doing this in June!!! The extreme planner in me is wondering if we have covered all bases so that we can make sure we are successful! So, I went out and gathered a little information to make sure we are ready! First things first! We have to make sure we are able to track our miles. I mean how will you know you hit 100-Miles if you can’t track yourself! I guess you can tell by all of the exclamation points I am super hyped about this challenge. Okay, let me calm down a little and share a few apps that I found that can help you track miles.

RUNNING/WALKING YOUR WAY TO 100 MILES?
Runkeeper, recommended by Vershenia Ballance Moody, seems to be pretty ease to use. It tracks your pace, distance, calories burned, time and more. You can also use this app to track your progress in your fitness journey.
Run with Map My Run, offers all the basic functionality of a running app with added benefits. Track pace, distance, calories burned, time, while also having the option of linking to fitness trackers and heart rate monitors. You can also input food consumption data and track the distance logged on your running shoes so that you know when it is time to get a new pair.
Adidas Running App by Runtastic links to Google Earth for easy route-mapping, especially if you’re in a new city. The bonus feature of this app seems to be that it makes social sharing easy.

BIKING YOUR WAY TO 100 MILES?
Download the Map My Ride to your smart phone. This app will allow you to know your distance, speed, calorie burn, elevation, and more.

SWIM YOUR WAY TO 100 MILES?
It seems Fitbit’s Flex 2 is the way to go if you plan to swim your way to 100 miles. It is water resistant up to 0.0311 miles, recognizes when you start to swim and measures your laps. If you plan to do a combination of things the Fitbit Flex 2 also recognizes when you are running and cycling.
Hope these tips are helpful as you gear up for the 100-mile challenge! If you have any helpful tips please be sure to share in the comments!
Much Love,
Tonza
For your readers who have Samsung phones, the Samsung Health App also tracks your miles, your food intake, your heart rate, calories burned, etc.
