It’s Friday!!! As promised, here is my list of Black-owned businesses you can support during National Black Business Month! I will be back next Friday with five more Black-owned businesses for you to explore.

The McBride Sisters
You know I am going to spotlight wine! I told you that when I got all settled in, I would be ordering from the McBride Sisters. If you enjoy wine, you should check them out as well. Not to mention, their story is interesting.

The Literacy Shop
Leslie Crawford decided she wanted kids to be excited about reading again. After being told by a group of kids they did not enjoy reading because there were no books they can relate to, Leslie founded The Literacy Shop. This site is a great place to go if you are looking for children’s books that feature children of color.

Busy Believer Candles
Porsha Kwasikpui is rocking it out on the candle scene. Everyone loves the Vibe candle that she created for me. If you are interested in other great scents, you definitely should check out her site. You will not be disappointed.

Because of Them We Can Boxes
OMG! I wish these boxes were available when my two oldest daughters were growing up. I spent so much time trying to create ways to get them engaged and interested in learning more about their history. Sometimes my projects were an epic fail. These boxes are a fantastic tool if you are looking to get children engaged and interested in Black History.

MonkeyBeadz
I love Leticia Macon’s jewelry so much that I had her make beaded charm bracelets exclusively for Tonza D. Ruffin LLC. If you are a jewelry lover, she has such a wide array of styles and designs you have to check her out. Check her out on Instagram @monkeybeadz.
Let me know what you think once you check these businesses out!
Much Love,
Tonza
