Well Blow Me Down!: IV Hydration Station Anyone?

Well, blow me down! The more I talk to people, the more I continue to realize I have truly been living under a rock. I was hanging with some friends a couple of weeks ago, and the young adults in the group started talking about going to a “hydration station” the day after a night of partying. Having absolutely no clue what they were talking about, I turned to my friend and asked, “hydration station? What is that?” For those of you like me, still taking BC powder (Wait! Do they even sell BC anymore?) and drinking Gatorade to deal with hangovers, you will want to stick around for this one! Apparently, there is now a world where you can go to a safe, clean location set up to infuse your body, via IV(intravenous), with all of the wonderful things you need (Zofran, antacids, and vitamins) to quickly fight off a hangover. Can you believe that ISH? Or, are you just as shocked as I was? I am telling you when I heard about this, it was like a breakthrough for me!! Not that I require a lot of hangover recovery here lately. šŸ™‚

Of course, I could not wait to learn more about IV hydration stations so that I could share this information with you. Apparently IV hydration stations are not limited to treatment for hangover recovery. And, some IV hydration stations are mobile.

There are so many potential reasons to consider IV hydration treatment. Here are a few that caught my interest.

TheraFlu just not doing it for you?

No worries, for approximately $120.00 there is an iv treatment to help you fight off cold and flu symptoms. Get your body infused with Vitamin-C, B-Complex, Zinc  to help you feel better quickly.

If you are anything like me, you prefer to be more proactive than reactive.

We are not sitting around waiting for the flu to hit us like a ton of bricks before we start fighting. We are doing whatever we can to stop the flu from even thinking about ravaging our bodies. Guess what? There is an iv treatment for folks like us.

Have yourself injected with Vitamin-C, B-Complex, Super B12, Trace Minerals, Glutathione to improve immune health, mental clarity, liver function and overall cellular wellness.

Looking for something that will improve nutrition and sleep while decreasing chronic stress-related symptoms,…

The supplements included in this signature cocktail include Vitamin-C, B-Complex, Super B12, Magnesium, Calcium, L-Carnitine, L-Lysine, L-Glycine, L-Arginine, Taurine.

Expectant mothers there is an IV treatment out there to help ward off morning sickness.

For approximately $150.00, you can get Reglan, Pepcid, and Folic Acid via IV therapy. While I am happy to share this info with you, I am really pissed off because all I had to comfort me when I was suffering through morning sickness with each of my babies was some darn saltine crackers and ginger ale.

For women that have finally been hit with that fear of aging like me, they have an anti-aging IV treatment too!

anti-aging

Drive IV Hydration and Med Spa offers “The Rewind”. This $189.00 anti-aging cocktail consists of B Complex, Mineral Complex, High Dose Glutathione, CoQ-10, Vitamin C, and O2.

As I write this post, my mind keeps wandering back to my law school days. I keep thinking about the days I wasted recovering from a hangover that BC and Gatorade couldn’t even fix. If only IV hydration therapy were present then.

Much Love,

Perfectly Imperfect but VERY PROUD WOMAN, MOM, LAWYER, and AUTHOR, but most importantly...LIFE LOVER! I laugh loud, I work hard, I play hard, I am adventurous, I am curious, I am driven, I have moments of deep insecurity, I am loving, I am vulnerable, I am explosive (not one of my finer qualities), I dance around my house alone, I am an awful perfectionist which makes my insecurity worse, I sing out loud in my car without any concern for whose watching, I have trust issues, I do not live through my children, I no longer try to force my children into the mold that I created so that I could feel validated as a mother, I am a risk-taker, I am guarded in my personal life, I am kind, I am grateful. I am so excited about the rest of my life!

  1. I had an annual membership with a hydration clinic here in Georgia when I was running and training for the Peachtree Road Race. This is an awesome service and it really does work. You can go in and choose what vitamins you would like included in your bag. I moved away from the city so I do not have access to their service anymore. I would go back again if they were closer to where I live now.

  2. Hey Councilor….. Firstly, a can of beer would take the hangover away…. I don’t get those anymore, since I don’t drink like I did as a younger adult….. LOLOL If I did, I’d stay hydrated…. and secondly….. Aside from the hydrating spot, NOW they can just stick a needle in you for your other platforms…. Sounds scary…… Only because NOBODY wants to hear
“OOPS” …… LASTLY, That pix of you……..MWAH….. Took me a minute to realize you had NO shoes on…. LOLOL…. Keep being you!!!
